A small cleared area along the Kohlenbach near Waldkirch is awaiting reforestation. Spruce trees once stood here on 0.2 ha, but they were severely damaged by a bark beetle infestation.

The Porsche Center Freiburg is launching a sustainable tree-planting initiative: For every new or used car sold, a tree will be planted. Michael Kaulfuß, managing director of the Porsche Center Freiburg, broke ground for the first trees. The first three trees were planted during the ceremony, and more will follow in the coming weeks. With every vehicle purchase, the Porsche Center Freiburg supports the creation of a thriving forest in our region!
