St. Peter II / Baden-Württemberg

In the Sägendobel valley, above Haldenhof, we will support forest regeneration through group plantings in a small forested area of 0.3 ha.

This former spruce monoculture was weakened by drought followed by a beetle infestation. Due to its exposed location, the storms of recent years had an easy time of it and further decimated the few remaining healthy trees. Located along the St. Peter–Kandel hiking trail, it offers wonderful views toward Kandel and Glottertal.
