St. Märgen I / Baden-Württemberg

East of Freiburg, near St. Märgen, on a steep slope above the Steinbach Valley, two damaged areas, each covering approximately 0.5 ha, are to be reforested.

In some areas of older damaged forest, natural regeneration with conifers is evident. We intend to plant deciduous trees in the open areas in between and in more recent areas damaged by bark beetle infestations.
