In Kleines Wiesental, above the Riederbächle, we take care of an area of about 0.5 ha.

This spruce monoculture, typical of the Black Forest, was planted about 50 years ago on what used to be a meadow. Most of the spruce trees were toppled by Storm Lothar and other storms. There has been some natural regeneration, but heavy overgrowth of blackberries and knotweed has been preventing widespread regeneration of the forest area for years, which is why we want to help here.
