Elzach-Yach / Baden-Württemberg

Above Elzach Yach, we manage a 0.25-hectare area that had to be cleared following a beetle infestation in 2025.

The existing natural regeneration (Sycamore Maple, Wild Cherry, Douglas fir, Elderberry) will not be enough to keep the blackberries at bay. Therefore, we want to supplement it with small groups of Norway Maple and Sweet Chestnut. The area is easily accessible and could be reforested, for example, through a school project.
