Blumberg III / Baden-Württemberg – KARL STORZ & KARL STORZ Stiftung-Wald
There are currently a large number of newly damaged areas in the region around Blumberg. Another 0.8 ha of land that was formerly a spruce monoculture is to be reforested.
We plan to reforest another portion of the land in the autum of 2026 and are still looking for active support.

We were very pleased with the survival rate on our own myreforest site in Blumberg. At over 90%, nearly all of the young trees have survived and are sprouting beautifully, as we observed during our site inspection on May 6, 2026.

On October 14, 2025, we welcomed “repeat volunteers” to the site in Blumberg.
The KARL STORZ company and the KARL STORZ FOUNDATION made it possible to plant a colorful mix of sweet chestnut, wild service tree, larch, Norway maple, and wild cherry on this former spruce monoculture. After work, the volunteers put in a lot of effort in their free time to get the seedlings into the ground before sunset.
Thank you very much for your continued physical and financial commitment to this wonderful reforestation project. We had a lot of fun together.
